A new word for Ryan!!

Last night while I was putting Ryan to bed, we did our usual routine of giving him his paci and raffi, turning on his rain sounds, turning off the light, then turning on his turtle that projects stars on the ceiling. We were walking to the rocking chair to nurse and Ryan yanks his paci out of his mouth points to the ceiling and says dar, dar, dar!! (He was saying star!!) I was so proud. We haven't had many words so far, and that was one of the first that he said unprompted.

He also saw our next-door neighbor's dog (Kaley), first he said "ca", then he said "dada" which is doggy to him.

Yay! It is exciting to see him talking finally:)
